KNC Aiming to Conquer the World

Rafał Stec is planning to grow his consortium. He aims to turn his real estate agency into a tycoon, not only on the Tarnow market, which has actually taken place already, but also on the European market. KNC is now building a franchising network. "A network of this kind is a future for many people who are considering having their own business" say the authors of the franchising concept.

Rafał Stec does not need to be introduced. He has proven himself as an entrepreneur and efficient manager. He is also involved in charity, for instance he is active in the lodge of the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Wawel Bronze Bell. A meeting of the members of an elite association has taken place in Tarnow this year, and was participated by Rafał Stec. At that occasion he was photographed for a local newspaper "Dziennik Polski" in the company of the members of Knightly Brotherhood of Tarnow and Bochnia. Members of that meeting emphasized that Rafał Stec had recently made a contribution to the Brotherhood's campaign to help Polish emigrants in the East, organised by the Polish Community Association. At present, the owner of the Tarnow real estate agency is committed to developing his franchising network. KNC already has its branches in 11 countries. They make a total of 50 branch offices in countries such as Bulgaria, Lithuania, United Kingdom, France and even the United States and French Guiana. One candidate is even intending to open a KNC office in Bagdad.

"Our offer is targeted at open-minded people who are already running their own business such as financial agency or insurance services" says Rafał Stec. "Nowadays you have to diversify your business and reach out for new territories. This is what our times demand. That is why we are approached by people willing to take on a challenge to prove themselves in a new business. We provide them with full logistics and access to our listings database."

At the moment KNC has 50 branches, but would like to double that number by the end of this year. Rafał Stec is confident that there will be one hundred offices by December. His plans include having new offices opened in many new locations. For example, a new KNC branch has been opened in a small town of Bartoszyce, between Olsztyn and the state border.

"We would also like to open a branch in Olsztyn, if possible" says Rafał Stec. "There is an ample real estate market to take over in the Warmia and Mazury region."

It took only one and a half years to create the KNC franchising network in its present size. It is being built on a difficult market, in competition with large network companies. Stec claims that the only way he can beat them is with KNC's very good offer. He helps those who join his franchising system to organize and fit out the office, provides training for employees and supplies computer software.

KNC has currently access to 12 thousand real estate listings. The company doesn't charge any license fee, but the franchise holder has to pay a franchising fee of five percent of their turnover.

After completing training organised by KNC the participants receive real estate agent's certificates. After that, the only thing left for them to do is open their own office under a shared brand.

Rafał Stec has a policy which says there should be one branch in his franchising network for every 50 thousand inhabitants. In Krakow, for example, there are already three KNC real estate agencies. So the Krakow market is still open for more KNC branches. "Generally, we want to capture cities with more than 50 thousand inhabitants" says the entrepreneur from Tarnow.

Why is it a good idea to become business partners with Rafał Stec? "If you are considering opening a business in real estate, it is better to start with a big partner than on your own" –says Rafał Stec. "It is much easier. You don't need to develop your own methods as you get access to all of our know-how and our real estate database, including six thousand listings on exclusivity basis. Then we all contribute to our real estate database and database of customers looking for homes, flats and land lots. And with us, every franchise holder gets a franchising coach.

A recent idea Rafał Stec has been considering is to create a database of palaces, castles and manor houses intended for the so called "elite customer".
